Krk - Croatia
Krk - city and port on the island Krk. Krk is also the administrative, cultural and religious center of the island.
Once a bishop's town with the most significant architectural monument - the cathedral, whose beginnings date back to the ancient sixth century. The old town, which is entered through four town gates surrounded by walls that keep valuable cultural heritage of the cathedral draws a Romanesque basilica, there is Frankopan castle from the 12th century, and many secular buildings (houses Kotter, Canon's House ...) with valuable features from different periods. From a few square tower is the oldest tower in the 12th Kamplin the century.
