Kukljica - Croatia
Located at the narrowest part of the island, Kukljica has access to two coasts - north and south. In addition, close to passage Ždrelac leading to National park Kornati and Nature Park makes it attractive to boaters.
Naturally protected harbor and modern marinas provide excellent opportunities for anchoring, a rugged coastline, crystal clear waters, numerous sandy and rocky beaches are ideal for families with children and youth and all those who seek peace in the shade of ancient pines. Authentic Dalmatian architecture is just most visible in Kukljica, where the stone houses dotted each other to form a square, forming a small square - Palace.
On Cape Zaglav, away from the old town is a tourist village Zelena punta with all sports facilities. Two churches are cultural treasures of a place, a famous tourist event is held every 5 August, when a procession accompanied with a few hundred sea vessels passed the statue of Our Lady of the Snows.
