Due to the geographical position of the densely populated area of bear habitats of northern Velebit, in Kuterevo was established first shelter for young bears in Croatia.
In the sanctuary, "Velebit bear" for the friends of nature made up of experts in the field of biology and ecology, but also volunteers, who seek motive in great love for the bears.
