Blato, Korčula - Croatia

The oldest town on the island of Korčula, Blato, is situated in a fertile valley and the hills covered with vineyards. On all sides is surrounded by picturesque bays and islands with beautiful beaches, and in the town you can find accommodation in private apartments or nearby camps with traditionally good mediterranean cuisine.

In the center of the town there is ethno-house Barilo, atrium and the church with a bell tower where once a rich social life took the place. The most famous street Zlinje with majestic alley of trees and a nearby park, which in the summer months provide pleasant shade, represents an exceptional natural and cultural value of the place.
