Ilok - Croatia

This easternmost Croatian village, a blend of East and West, rises in  harmony above the Danube, surrounded by the slopes of Fruška hill and beautiful vineyards. Ilok is the Danube kingdom of wine with their Traminer, as well as all other wine varieties of this area. It conquered the market and most of the visitors.

Gewurztraminer, Riesling, Pinot Blanc, Chardonnay, Riesling are part of many of the world's wine, as well as the English court since the 19th the century. Attractive old cellars beneath the castle Odescalchi, and many smaller wineries on "Ilok Wine Road" offer the possibility of tasting wine and cold cuts.
