Stari grad Castle, built in the first half of the 17th century, is located in the heart of Kraljevica. A new town, known as Castle Frankopan, by it's beauty and position above the shore captures the attention of even the casual passenger's.
Tourism began to develop in the 19th century when the Austrian Count Ollschbaura built the first hotel, later converted into a sanatorium. Attracted by the clear waters, swimming beaches and above all the cultural events, many famous artists here have found their peace, and painted their most beautiful marina.
Today Kraljevica is maritime and shipbuilding base of the Adriatic, a beautiful cove Dubno and Scott with their campsite attracts many tourists.
