Buje - Croatia

Buje - Istrian town on a hill that offers magnificent vistas of the fertile fields, olive groves and vineyards that make this region famous. Only a few kilometers away from the sea, it lies on a picturesque wine and olive roads and landscaped pedestrian and bicycle paths.

In the historical center, thanks to centuries-old conections with Rome and Venice, is a cathedral, a noble palace, tower, castle ruins and defensive towers. The rich interior of the church of St. Mary hides valuable paintings and altar, a significant cultural heritage of the entire area.

Buje is interesting for its gastronomy, numerous pubs and restaurants you can enjoy in smoked ham, cheese, truffles and game!
