The famous wine from Erdut wineries and large wooden barrels are known to wine lovers. The largest barrel is made from 150 year old oak, with 75 000 l, and it was listed in the Guinness Book of Records. Like the guard along this old place of a long and interesting past, the ruins of the once fortified medieval feudal town are rising.
