Fužine - Croatia

Fužine are beautiful mountain town at the junction of the mountains and the sea. Untouched nature, comfortable accommodation and gastronomy are the most popular features of Fužine. Excellent restaurants will offer you the game dishes, mushrooms, trout or desserts from berries. The natural attraction is a cave Vrelo and lake Bajer and Lepenica.

 It is possible to find summer refreshment in the lakes, fishing, boating. There are marked attractive pedestrian, bicycle and hiking trails, there is an offer of  horseback riding, carriage driving or touring countryside tourist train. There is a traditional event, "Summer in Fužine", and is known for "The funeral of the old year in the open" every 31st December, at noon, which attracts many visitors from all over the world.
